Friday Focus - January 25, 2019
Great Things I Noticed this Week:
*We made it through the full blood moon (or whatever that was) and post snow day excitement...we can totally do anything!
*1st graders engaged in partner reading, with fluency and expression and loving their books.
*1st graders drawing/labeling diagrams to show details in their nonfiction books.
*2nd graders going room to room to read each students' published nonfiction books.
*3rd graders reading, rereading and rereading word problems with perseverance to decide what exactly the question is asking so they can then decide what to do and how many steps they need to take to solve.
*4th graders thinking deeply about what they read to make an interpretation about the characters/events.
Events Next Week:
-Souper Bowl all week! Staff can participate too!
-I will be out of the building Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday all day
Friday - National Wear Red day
Dodgeland Pride assembly starting at 2:30 - again, just staff and students. Classroom teachers - please plan to bring your iPad again for a class Kahoot
"Nuts & Bolts" Notes:
